They arrived in Melbourne and stayed for the night at the Sandringham Hotel where I met up with them in the morning. We strolled down to Sandringham beach for a few quick shots before setting off to the Yarra Valley for the ceremony at Chateau Yering. The Yarra Valley abounds great photo opportunities, but the gardens of Chateau Yering require no assistance – they’re beautiful – especially with the onset of turning autumn leaves.

They stayed at the beautiful little boutique hotel “The Hatton”, just around the corner from the Botanic Gardens off Domain Road. We met at the Hatton, drank some French champagne and headed off to the Botanic Gardens with their baby son for a 2 hour pre-wedding shoot. Here are a few shots from our garden walk. Max worked here for a few years and made many friends.
