File Resolution and Digital Development

All of our packages include all images taken, burnt to a copyright free non watermarked DVD. Below, is an example of the resolution at 100% from an area of a screen resolution image. As you can see, there is fine detail right down to the last pixel.

We use the best lenses available for shooting weddings and portraits, from the legendary Canon 85mm f1.2LII through to the 135mm f2L, featured below. Two 21 megapixel full frame Canon pro cameras and top of the line flash heads to compliment these beautiful lenses accompany us to every wedding. As you can see from the image below, our very fast portrait lenses give a feeling of softness by washing backgrounds to fluff, but where sharpness is required to contrast this, it is there in spades…

Our software collection includes several of the best pro photo development suites such as Phase One’s raw processor Capture One, the OnOne Software Suite, Imagenomic’s Portraiture and the Nik Software Suite. We utilise a standard workflow incorporating colour temperature, subtle softening for skin and sharpening for finer details with contrast. Our extensive software collection allows us to create almost any type or feel of image from contemporary to traditional, antique to modern, dreamy to stark and cool to warm. We will subjectively view each image on it’s merit and adjust the image accordingly – keeping your personality and the focus and theme of your wedding in mind.
