Royal Melbourne Botanic Gardens. Marie & Max
Marie and Max eloped to Australia from Sweden. They stayed at the beautiful little boutique hotel “The Hatton”, just around the corner from the Botanic Gardens off Domain Road. We met at the Hatton, drank some French champagne and headed off to the Botanic Gardens with their baby son for a 2 hour pre-wedding shoot. Here are a few shots from our garden walk. Max worked here for a few years and made many friends.
Location Portraits
I’ve been manically busy during wedding season, but I have managed to upgrade all my location lighting with the purchase of some great studio portrait gear. I did this little shoot a few days ago in my back room for testing purposes. i got some lovely portraits of my eldest daughter Ashleigh and her little sister Emily who wandered by a few times during the shoot. i shot with 2 lights, a softbox and a honeycomb hairlight, the Canon 5d Mk2 and 135mm F2L lens
